Beech Tree Lodge is located off the A9 trunk road, just north of Dornoch in the Scottish Highlands and enjoys an idyllic setting in the midst of the spectacular mountain landscape of Loch Fleet.

Loch Fleet Nature Reserve is on your doorstep with the ruggedness of the north-west Highlands, often referred to as the last great wilderness in Europe, making some of the most beautiful beaches and mountains in Scotland easily accessible. Golfers have plenty to choose from with courses at Royal Dornoch, Tain, Brora and Golspie a short drive way.

For all you whisky lovers out there you will be able to visit the world famous Glenmorangie Distillery as well as Balblair, Dalmore and Clynelish distilleries.

Dunrobin Castle just 10 minutes away is home of the Earl of Sutherland and the Clan Sutherland. It is located 1 mile north of Golspie and approx 5 miles south of Brora, overlooking the Dornoch Firth.

During your visit around the house and grounds you will also have the chance to view 2 excellent falconry displays. (my personal favourite).

The nearest restaurant to the Bed and Breakfast is the Trentham which will provide you with a good choice of very well priced food. We will be happy to book your table for you. Other restaurants can be found in Dornoch and Golspie.
